Campers ages 5-14 will have the best summer ever in nZone's spacious 83,000 square foot indoor sports facility filled with 2 sports fields, basketball courts, a movie room and so much more! Each day, Campers break into age groups to play games and sports on our indoor turf fields. Traditional playground games like Capture the Flag, Kickball, and Dodgeball will keep kids engaged and energized all day long! nMotion Summer Camp provides enrichment activities, beyond sports, to make the most of your child’s school break. Kids investigate with hands-on science experiments, mix up fun in our cooking classes, and dive into art projects. In addition to this, extra fun activities will be provided each week including outdoor water activities and our very own moonbounce! Berkshire Lake Arts Camp provides top-tier dance, theater and visual arts instruction, plus all the magic of traditional camp for girls ages 7-15   Our Camp Experience: Top-tier instruction, with the freedom, support and encouragement for each girl to explore what interests her. Boundless space for creative exploration and meaningful skill development. A place where girls can be their best selves. A place where creativity and summer camp meet to nurture girls to become their best selves.   Community: Thanks to a small program size, intimate site and high counselor-to-camper ratio (1:3), each girl receives individual attention, learning and care, and feels deeply connected to our diverse and intentionally built community. Their passionate and dedicated team of directors have over 50 years of combined camp experience. Each summer, they complement that with a talented staff who are intentionally chosen because they love the arts, embody our philosophy, and are deeply committed to making a difference for all campers.   The goal each summer is to foster a warm and welcoming sisterhood where girls feel comfortable being their authentic selves, creatively and socially. Berkshire Lake Arts Camp proudly boasts its own individual camp property. They don’t share facilities with any other programs, allowing girls the freedom to use all of the camp’s facilities at all times! 

Spark your son's curiosity and interest for the fascinating world of science! Discovery Science Camp is a science teacher-led activity and excursion camp at The Heights School, an independent school for boys with a conveniently located and beautiful 29-acre wooded campus in Potomac, MD. Discovery Science Camp is a program designed around uniquely engaging activities and hands-on experiences involving science. For more than 25 years, this longest running camp at the school has been staffed exclusively by The Heights School's faculty - and it accomplishes more adventure in a few weeks than most camps offer in an entire summer. This summer, Discovery Science Camp will accomplish field trips in small groups of ten campers plus a faculty leader and staff member. Here is a sample of activities and trips that have been taken in past years: A visit to the NASA Goddard Space Center with a special presentation on the space shuttle, satellites, and the James Webb Telescope. The traditional helicopter egg drop engineering contest and a chance to make ice cream as a prize. An in-depth study of ecosystems and The Chesapeake Bay, including a visit to The Chesapeake Bay. Dissection of a shark and a chance to study Marine Biology. Construction of giant water balloon catapults and cannons as a fun way to learn about Newtonian Physics. Nature hikes that promote an understanding of Environmental Biology and the natural forces that shape our local environment, including visits to Cunningham Falls Park and the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve. A visit to the U.S. Naval Observatory Dome Telescope with a presentation on outer space. Woodworking and 2×4 bridge building for older campers to better understand engineering principles and design. Learning about Natural History through hikes and expert guest speakers invited with animals such as falconry from a Falconer and reptiles from a Zoologist. Visits to nearby Caverns of the Catoctin Mountains to learn more about cavern formation and Geology. Learn about Rocketry, how planes fly, and applied engineering demonstrations using model rockets and an opportunity for each camper to make and launch a model rocket. A visit to a large crop and dairy farm to better understand agricultural sciences and the work of farmers. Understanding Aeronautics, including a trip to the Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum and a tour from an F-16 pilot to learn about how planes fly. The chance to go creeking and explore the tiny, living world of microorganisms in naturally sourced water through the use of biology lab microscopes.   HURRY!
