Move over Danica Patrick and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. It's time for your little junior to take the wheel at Summit Point Kart Kid Racing School. For only $75, your child between 4* and 15 will learn the fundamentals of racing karts as well as receive the first two races for free. This 3-hour class takes kids through the fundamentals of racing: safety equipment, kart control, flags, basic passing, and race conduct. After passing the course, kids will be able to drive in kids “Arrive and Drive” sessions as well as in the kids' kart racing leagues.
Summit Point Kart is about 75 miles outside of the heart of DC, only 40 minutes from Leesburg, VA and 45 minutes from Frederick, MD. Kart racing is an exciting motorsport enjoyed by children and adults all over the world. Kids Racing School is a great way to prepare your child for fun on the track and see if he/she may be ready to start in the sport of racing. Many great Formula 1 and NASCAR drivers got their start in kart including Jeff Gordon, Danica Patrick, Tony Stewart, Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen, Lewis Hamiton and many more.
Kids Racing Schools at Summit Point Kart are available on the following Saturdays from 9:00 - noon. Select your date at check out:

- April 5, 12, 19, 26
- May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
*Kids under 48" or less than 6 years old must call to schedule a kart fitting at least 1 day prior to Kid Racing school to see if they will be able to control the kart. In many cases, a custom foam set will be need to be made for an additional $80.

Voucher Includes: Three-hour Kid Kart Racing School (valued at $100). Two races (each race valued at $25) that can be used the afternoon of the school or anytime before August 31, 2014. As an extra bonus, one adult guardian will receive a free race while the child is attending the School.
Additional Information:
- Kids under 48" or less than 6 years old must call to schedule a kart fitting at least 1 day prior to Kid Racing School to see if they will be able to control the kart. In many cases, a custom foam set will be need to be made for an additional $80.
- The school runs from 9:00 am - noon. Please arrive at 8:30 for paperwork.
- You must wear closed-toe shoes.
- All safety equipment will be provided.
- Adults of minors must bring a government issued photo ID card such as a Driver's License.
- Each child will need to have a minor release signed by a parent before being able to take the class.
- The additional free races are only for the child who has completed the Kids Racing School and cannot be transferred to another child or adult.

How to Redeem: After you select your date and purchase the voucher, you are considered registered for the Kids Racing School. Show up at Summit Point Kart with your CertifiKID voucher at 8:30 the morning of your session to fill out forms and waivers. At check-in, you will be given instructions for how to redeem your two additional races.
