Kids of all abilities will enjoy this fast paced program which teaches children ages 7 - 15 years old how to embrace their inner racer. Kids will learn the rules of the track including safety, flags, kart control, advanced passing, situational awareness, race craft, and sportsmanship culimnating in Friday's Championship Day where kids compete for top honors.

5-Day Camp Description:
- Monday: Get Certified to Drive - Students age 7 to 15 will learn the fundamentals of racing karts including an introduction to safety equipment, essential kart control skills, flags, basic passing, and race conduct. The days ends with some micro races to put all of the elements together.
- Tuesday: Advanced passing and situational awareness. Students will lean their responsibilities for every phase of a pass and how to adjust their line accordingly. With this knowledge, quality racing begins to take shape. The day finishes with medium length races that focus on each racer yielding in the race when required.
- Wednesday: Kart control and efficiency. From behind the wheel and from analyzing lap data, students will learn to differentiate optimum driving from over driving. Students can expect major improvement in their lap times as well as learn techniques to continue to improve their lap times in the future.
- Thursday: Race craft and sportsmanship. Students will be introduced to offensive and defensive lines and when it’s appropriate to use them. Students will also learn the importantance of a quality, off-track report with fellow racers.
- Friday: Championship Day! Kids will enjoy a championship racing experience with points heats ending with an awards ceremony.
Additional Information:
- You must wear closed-toe shoes.
- All safety equipment will be provided.
- Adults of minors must bring a government issued photo ID card such as a Driver's License.
- Each child will need to have a minor release signed by a parent.
- Kids should eat lightly before they come and plan to have lunch after dismissal.

How to Redeem: After you select your date and purchase the voucher, you are considered registered for the Kids Camp. Please come to Summit Point Kart with your CertifiKID voucher at 8:30 on your first morning of your session to fill out forms and waivers.
