Do you like a 5k obstacle course? Turns out the undead do too! Assemble your crew and evade the hungry hoards as you own the obstacles and emerge from the woods of Bull Run Regional Park, victorious - if a little messy (okay, maybe a lot messy.)

This fun and freaky 5k features gore-drenched rock walls, spider webs, bloody beams, the wall of death, a tire gauntlet and more. Including brain-craving zombies. These Walkers have mastered more than moaning, they can wield weapons. They take aim at runners with water guns filled with fake blood!  

In the end The Blood & Guts Run is all in good fun and there are prizes to prove it. Runners will collect prizes for the most creative costumes, as well as several other cateGORE-ies. Everyone will get a cool custom-made t-shirt too. Then you can dance away the dinge of the day to rockin’ DJ-spun tunes. Cancer is more scary than a zombie, so the race donates a portion of the profits to the Susan G. Komen Foundation's Virginia and Maryland chapter.
