Spend the summer on the court and in the pool with Bethesda Tennis Academy (BTA) at Carderock Springs Swim & Tennis Club in Bethesda!
With BTA, kids ages 6-13 can look forward to having fun on the tennis court and in the swimming pool. Staff will include collegiate players and nationally ranked 16-18 year olds, all taking direction from and supervised by a Head Pro. Here's what a typical day looks like:
- 9 - 9:10am - Laps and stretching
- 9:10 - 9:20am - Explanation of morning drills and necessary grip, footwork, stance, swing path, balance, and more.
- 9:20 - 10:30am - Drills
- 10:30 - 10:40am - Shade break/snack
- 10:40 - 11:30am - On-Court Tennis Games and Footwork Games
- 11:30am -1:30pm - Lunch Break and other activities (Swim, Basketball, Cards, Board Games)
- 1:40pm - 2pm - Serve Practice
- 2 - 3pm - Competitive Tennis Games/Points (all levels)
- 3 - 4pm - Players Choice of activities & dismissal
