Spend the summer on the court and in the pool with Bethesda Tennis Academy (BTA) at Carderock Springs Swim & Tennis Club in Bethesda!
With BTA, kids ages 6-14 can look forward to learning and having fun on the tennis court while enjoying some break time in the swimming pool. Staff will include collegiate players as well as and nationally ranked 16-18 year olds, all taking direction from and supervised by a USPTA Certified Head Pro. Here's what a typical day looks like:
- 9 - 9:10am - Laps and stretching
- 9:10 - 9:20am - Explanation of morning drills and necessary grip, footwork, stance, swing path, balance, and more.
- 9:20 - 10:30am - Drills
- 10:30 - 10:40am - Shade break/snack
- 10:40 - 11:30am - On-Court Tennis Games and Footwork Games
- 11:30am -1:30pm - Lunch Break and other activities (Swim, Basketball, Cards, Board Games)
- 1:40pm - 2pm - Serve Practice
- 2 - 3pm - Competitive Tennis Games/Points (all levels)
- 3 - 4pm - Players Choice of activities & dismissal
