The Zone is an all-in-one restaurant, sports bar and family entertainment facility in Ashburn, Virginia featuring upscale pub grub, lots of TVs, and a variety of entertainment options, including cosmic bowling, multi-level laser tag arena, virtual reality gaming, and arcade games. They also host private events, birthday parties and summer camps.

The Zone is a restaurant and arcade, in Ashburn, Virginia. There is laser tag, bowling (four lanes), and a small arcade with well-priced games. Most games cost $1-$1.50; the more expensive ($3 games) were the Virtual Reality (VR) games and the photo booth.

I enjoyed the atmosphere while my 16 and 9-year olds enjoyed the laser tag.

My 8-year old girl enjoyed the crane games and my 11-year old enjoyed the shooter games. 

Restaurant food was tasty but portions were somewhat small, except the kids meals were good sized. Staff was abundant and very attentive. 

Getting There and Getting In

It took us an hour to get to The Zone coming from Quantico Marine Base. The location was easy to find. There is a free parking lot just down the street; sidewalk/street parking was limited to short periods of time, depending on the spot.

Time Recommended to Enjoy the Experience

I recommend 1-3 hours, depending on what activities you want to do.

Recommended Age Range

My children are 16, 11, 9 and 8 and all had a great time.

Tips for Families

There are only four bowling lanes and we were not able to bowl since all were reserved. You should call ahead if you plan to bowl.

There is a restaurant on-site for food, drinks, and snacks.

Would Your Family Visit Again?

We would possibly visit again if we find a good deal, but it located quite a distance from us.
