National Frozen Custard Day 2020: Deals & Freebies on August 8th

We celebrated National Ice Cream Day last month; now, it's custard's turn in the spotlight. Saturday, August 8th is National Frozen Custard Day!

But do you even know the difference between these two frozen, creamy treats? The answer lies mainly in one ingredient, my friends. To qualify as a legit "custard," your treat must contain egg yolks. This magical ingredient, combined with a process that incorporates less air when blended than ice cream, produces a richer, more dense product that is typically served immediately out of the machine versus being frozen and scooped.
