6 Spots in Loudoun for Kids to Splash In

Muck, stomp, wade - however you like to explore, creeks and rivers are a perfect place to cool off in the summer heat. We are lucky to have so many great spots in Loudoun where kids can splash and play -- and you can feel good about social distancing.

Here are six of my family's favorite creeks and rivers in the Loudoun area (and one just outside of Loudoun) to visit. Put on a swimsuit, bring shoes good for water walking, and don't forget snacks and sunscreen before heading out to any of these Loudoun water ways! And remember, always watch your kids in water — no matter how shallow it is.
