Camp JaK is located on a 200-acre ranch in Southern California. Immersed in nature and life on the ranch, kids 6 to 17 spend their time at camp connecting with the natural world. Campers design their own program, are an integral part of a community, and develop meaningful skills. Camp JaK combines the best of ranch life with the best of camp life. 

Camp JaK's goal is for your child to stop counting the days of camp and become immersed in the joy of the camp experience. This is how lifelong friendships can be formed in a matter of days. It’s how emotional growth can happen at an exponential pace compared to the school year. With a holistic approach to child development, Camp JaK provides an essential complement to schools and home communities, teaching certain skills in more depth and with more individual attention than most schools are able to.

Campers stay in a cabin with other campers in their age group and gender. Each cabin has a maximum of 10 campers and two counselors to help those campers navigate camp life successfully.

Food at Camp JaK is the opposite of what people typically consider "camp food." While campers are at Camp JaK they will enjoy farm-fresh meals where everything is made from scratch - even the baked goods. The best part is that the campers assist in making this possible by helping grow vegetables, bake bread and even make their own jam.

Voucher Includes:

• **Vouchers do NOT include optional transportation or store account.**
• $500 voucher includes tuition for one mini-session at camp. (Mini-sessions are 1 week and only valid for children ages 6-10.)
• $1000 voucher includes tuition for one session (2 weeks) at camp. Multiple $1000 vouchers may be purchased and combined to create a longer stay at Camp JaK.
• "Tuition" is considered room and board, activities (including horseback riding, ceramics, and camping trips, etc.), activity instruction and equipment, and a camp t-shirt. 

Preparing for Sleep Away Camp:  

• Kids ages 6 to 17
• 2 Week sessions begin on a Sunday and end on a Saturday.
• Camp can be purchased by mini-session (one week for ages 6-10 only), standard sessions (two weeks) or a month of camp (two, 2-week sessions).
• Session Dates:
  • Session 1: June 22 to July 5
  • Session 2: July 6 to July 19
  • Session 3: July 20 to August 2
  • Session 4: August 3 to August 16
